Orlando's First Christmas

This year Matt got creative with our Christmas tree and it ended up looking really cool (and we found a use for the drums!). We spent most of the day at home. Matt made our traditional (2nd year) cinnamon rolls in the morning, and as usual, they were delicious. We opened some presents and then we went over to our neighbor's house for brunch; they have a 4 month old, a little girl named Luca, and we've been hanging out with them.

Here's the little monkey dressed as santa... possibly wondering what is going on.

Opening his first present...

He got some books, including this one from papi, called "Urban Babies Wear Black"... ha ha. As you can see, we've already taught him how to read to ensure an advanced placement in daycare :)

One present was a tummy time airplane from his abuelos. We're really hoping this will work... so far he stays on it without screaming longer than on the floor.

And after all the excitement, Santa fell asleep.
