We've been remodeling the house for two years... This is a loooong time for living in the house while remodeling it. So far we've pulled out the carpet and redone the wood floors below it, plastered the fireplace, and recently we finished our biggest project to date: the infamous bathroom. When we found out we were having a baby, we decided to do all the other projects we had been talking about for years. Well, not all, we're always talking about new projects, but we're doing the biggest things inside the house (we'll take care of the exterior, landscaping, addition, etc. later... much later).
So, in this picture you can see what most rooms (including the baby's room) in our house look like right now: a mess of piles... boxes, cabinets, and stuff EVERYWHERE!
We (partially) demolished the kitchen cabinets this weekend, and we're desperately awaiting the installation of the new ones.
We divided the old garage into a laundry room and a TV room. These two rooms are very basic, so hopefully they'll be finished soon. Today they installed most of the sheetrock!
